Preparing for under saddle work, showing in-hand and Breed Inspections/Keuring preparation, lunging, exposure to varied environments, free jumping, ground work, fitness/balance, trailering, establishing mutual trust. One month required at minimum for backing youngsters. Schooled of 4 days, maximum of 6 days/wk.
Kindergarten $230/wk
Backing with ground person. Horses lead with rider, lunging with rider, first rides (through perhaps canter) as appropriate for individuals. This phase can go really fast or really slowly depending on the horse's temperament. We place a BIG emphasis on horses feeling safe and avoiding dangerous behaviors. Schooled a minimum of 3 days, maximum of 6 days/wk.
GENERAL HORSEMANSHIP -NOT “DRESSAGE” TRAINING
Elementary School $750/mo Full or $550 Partial
Introductory through 4th Level Dressage focused training, with frequent cross-training and work in-hand. Lunging, trails, exposure to varied situations. Showing, clinics, and outings are included, less expenses.
Graduate School $700/mo or $500 Partial
FEI PSG through Grand Prix Dressage focused training. Special emphasis on physical and mental fitness using field work, trail, cavaletti, and other cross-training opportunities to keep FEI horses keen and happy in their work. Showing, clinics, and outings are included, less expenses.
Full training is 5 day/wk
Partial training alternates 2 and 3 days/wk

Beginners’ lesson time includes basic horsemanship skills of learning to tack up, untack, and care for the horse and tack afterwards.
Advanced riders lesson time will start in the arena. Riders, allow time to properly put away the horse and wipe down tack before leaving.
